What is your professional or training background?
Bachelor of arts (fine arts), monash university Graduate diploma of education, melbourne university

What do you make, create or do?
We design and supply custom made rugs and carpets and create and publish limited edition prints. My husband Kim Stonehouse and I started the business 12 years ago, working mostly with Interior Designers and Architects.

What other creative areas would you like to explore as a side-project to your current work, or move into full-time?
I would like to find the time and space to start painting again.

What skills do you have that help you run your business, or what skills would you like to develop?
Perseverance, perseverance, perseverance. The business of ‘custom made’ is a very time consuming and energy intensive one and with perseverance our business has slowly grown over the years.
