What is your professional or training background?
After finishing my degree in decorative arts in high school I went to study Graphic Design at the National University of Arts in Bucharest. I also finished a master degree in Graphic design and Visual communication and worked in the advertising industry for the past 5 years. Since I had my little baby boy last July I've been working from home doing mainly graphic design and illustration.

What do you make, create or do?
I am doing graphic design work such as identity, prints and illustration. I also enjoy using mixed media in my artwork such as hand carved stamps combined with hand drawings, watercolors, digital etc.

What other creative areas would you like to explore as a side-project to your current work, or move into full-time?
Another area that I really enjoy and I've been experimenting a lot is photography. I've been also using it for capturing my work, art process and everything beautiful that inspires me and I want to keep in a picture.

What skills do you have that help you run your business, or what skills would you like to develop?
I am a hard worker but I definitely need a lot more self motivation, specially now that I am working from home.

List five people, businesses or websites/blogs that keep you motivated and inspired, and why?
Milton Glaser for his remarkable and iconic work, the Etsy online shop for many beautiful handmade works, Decor8 and Yoursartfully for endless inspiration.
