Women in Media (WiM)

WiM is a networking initiative for women in media stemming from the belief that solidarity in journalism is vital in ensuring good working conditions, more opportunities for women and credible journalism.

With the proud support of MEAA and the Walkley Foundation for Journalism, closing the gender gap in pay, retirement income and career opportunity is central to what WiM wants to achieve through this program.

Women in Film and Television NSW (WIFT NSW)

WIFT NSW is part of a global organisation, Women in Film and Television International (WIFTI) that s committed to improving the status of women, both on and off the screen, by supporting and advancing women working in the film, television and related screen industries. WIFT recognises the professional excellence achieved by women in all areas of the industry, providing a unique forum for communication, professional development and networking.

The Stella Prize

A major literary award that celebrates Australian women’s writing and an organisation that champions cultural change, and hold events and lectures around Australia. They also compile the annual Stella Count, tracking the number of books by men and women reviewed in our major newspapers and literary magazines, and in late 2014 launched the Stella Schools Program.
