Madeleine of Made By Mosey is using her craft super powers for good and raffling off this quilt to help the devastated people of East Africa. The quilt, measuring approximately 140cm x 115cm is made from all-linen vintage tea towels, with a vintage cotton backing and natural bamboo batting. Maryann Talia Pau and her group The Pacific Women’s Weaving Circle is having an installation based on Pacific Trade: Occupation & Exchange at Alphaville in Fitzroy from Sept 7. They will also be running free weaving workshops on Saturday 10 September at Alphaville and will have some beautiful Melbourne made Pacific craft on sale by some of our amazing and talented weavers.
