A new exhibition entitled Threads opens at No Vacancy Gallery tomorrow, featuring work from Eveline Tarundjaja (image above by Eveline from No Vacancy).

Thanks to Diane and Phoebe for their blog posts about our event at Harvest Textiles last weekend, and to Curvy and Life Instyle for posting about the upcoming CWC book launch on their blogs this week. You can see more photos from Sunday's event at our Facebook page, with thanks to Michelle.

Clare Lancaster (one of our book interviewees) is about to launch her new side project Stevie and Three. This week on the blog she describes the (self-confessed) slightly 'daggy' way that she came up with the business name. I always think a business name is the first major hurdle to overcome with any new venture and loved reading about how it came to her.

Congrats to the Hungry Workshop for taking home gold, silver and bronze at the Brisbane Advertising and Design Club Awards last weekend. Unsurprising given the high level of consistently good work they produce!

Jen Henderson has relaunched her business with a new name, Love JK, and a very good-looking new website! With a suite of new products, now is the time to order for Christmas, particularly if you want one of their personalised offerings...

Opening at MARS Gallery in Port Melbourne this weekend are two exhibitions of beautiful abstract works by artists Jane Hall (not to be confused with the actor/designer) and Joanne Mott. Perhaps something to stop into this weekend if the weather isn't looking too beach-friendly...
