Local sewing and handmade fashion haven Thread Den in Fitzroy are looking for new teachers to join their team. From the girls:
"With a few of our teachers moving on to new adventures after much appreciated contributions to our classes, we have some fancy shoes to fill. Most of our classes are run outside busines hours and we particularly need someone who is available to teach on weekends. We love to get new class ideas from our teachers and we encourage involvement in Thread Den in general. We would be especially impressed with someone who could teach knitting as well as garment construction, but it's not essential. A passion for dressmaking and projects would make you the perfect choice. If you are interested, please forward your resume to Kylie at info/at/threadden.com or give her a call at the store on 9486 9821 with any questions you may have."
The Thread Den Fitzroy store also has some studio space available upstairs! Perfect for a fashion/accessories designer or maker looking for an external sewing room. Anyone interested in checking it out or getting more information, please email Melissa at melissa/at/threadden.com.
