Weekly round-up: interesting find from around the web

Sydneysiders! Kelly Doust of The Crafty Minx will be talking about her memoir A Life in Frocks at Love Vintage (aka the Sydney Vintage Clothing, Jewellery and Textiles Show) on Saturday 16 April @ 3.30pm. Details here.

Oh, Hello Friend has a thoughtful post this week about commenting on blogs... do you do it? Do people comment on your blog? Do you judge the popularity of new-to-you blogs by how many comments posts receive? I know I sometimes do, though I've heard even the most popular bloggers talk about how only the tiniest percentage of their readership ever comment on a post.

Sarah from the Finders Keepers had a guest post on Leeloo this week entitled Top 4 Twitter Tips... a good read for old and new tweeters alike.

Flying Solo (an online community for solo entrepreneurs) has an article about constructive criticism, and how to ask for it.

And a timely article (for me at least) from Sarah Wilson - Can you capture what you stand for? I love this quote from the article: "I’ve wanted to stop things long enough to grasp it. IMPOSSIBLE!! This is something we need to accept is just not achievable nowadays." Harsh to realise, but true.

If I don't see you at tomorrow's Melbourne event, have a great weekend!
