Yes, it's Monday, and I probably should have posted this on Friday. But sometimes freelancers and self-employed creatives need to take holidays or mini-breaks... which is exactly what I did this past weekend. It's important to prioritise those types of getaways I think. But perhaps that is a post for another time...
Blogging is a big part of a lot of creative's marketing strategy... or it might even be the thing that you 'do'! The Blog Stylist has a new feature called 'Ask the experts' with lots of juicy blog-writing tips.
Here's an amusing but useful post that I found via twitter... "10 most overused words on craft blogs". Time to exercise that thesaurus and start describing your products in ways that differentiate you from similar makers.
NSW-based graphic designer Astrid Wehling is interviewed on the Australian Graphic Design Association's website this week... I like that AGDA are reaching out to their member base for interviews, rather than just high-profile national or international designers. Everyone has advice to offer others in their field.
